Mission Statement

At Southeast School of Dance, we prioritize providing excellent dance education in a structured yet encouraging and nurturing environment where every student can grow. We serve both recreational and competitive dancers, prioritizing personal development, strong technique, artistry, creativity, and a true love for dance. Our mission is to develop respectful and confident students with a strong work ethic while creating a supportive community where both students and families feel welcomed, connected, and valued.

Philosophy

We strongly believe dance classes are essential for girls AND boys! Students develop a sense of responsibility, respect, and strong work ethic inside and outside the classroom. Starting at age 3, we offer a variety of classes including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acrobatics, as well as Adult Fitness classes. Class descriptions can be found below!

We believe it is imperative that your child’s teacher is knowledgeable and trained properly. We confidently guarantee our instructors are carefully chosen and highly qualified. Many of our instructors hold degrees from UNCG and UNCSA dance departments.

We have created an environment where students feel free to express themselves and explore new ideas; we strive to share our love of dance so the “hard work” is fun! We believe each dancer should leave our studio prepared for whatever their future holds. We strive to provide each student with the skill they need to live a happy life!
