Shelbi Guions is a dynamic dance artist, choreographer, and educator based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Her passion for dance began at just three years old, and she spent her formative years training and competing at the national level. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreography and Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), where she was also an active member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).
Throughout her professional career, Shelbi has received numerous accolades for both performance and choreography. Shelbi has collaborated with several leading competitive dance studios across the Triad region and continues to leave a lasting impact on the local dance community.
Among her notable accomplishments, Shelbi choreographed for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Dance Team during their 2024–2025 Clinic Auditions and served as the guest choreographer for Weaver Dance Academy in 2025. She also co-choreographed an award-winning routine for the 14th Annual Dancing With The Little Pink Stars Gala, which benefits Little Pink Houses of Hope. The routine received the event’s “Best Choreography” honor. Additionally, her choreography and performance work were featured in the music video Tell Me by Del Ward.
Through a partnership with Greensboro Performing Arts, Shelbi also serves as the resident musical theatre choreographer at New Garden Friends School, a private independent school in Greensboro. Most recently, she choreographed the school’s 2025 production of Elf the Musical.
Shelbi is skilled in a wide range of styles, including jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, and contemporary. While she embraces every creative opportunity, her current focus is on training collegiate and pre-professional dancers.
