Acro Instructor

Allie Rivera was born and raised in Tampa, FL where her love for dance started early on. She trained and competed with Karl and Dimarco School of Theatre and Dance before joining the staff at the Community School of the Arts in 2011. At CSA, she established a strong company of dancers and took on the role of Competition Director. After obtaining her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2015, she moved to Sarasota, FL and joined the diverse and knowledgeable team at Soul Studios where she taught classes in acrobatics, jazz, tap and technique, while also choreographing multiple award winning competition pieces.

Though dance has always been her passion, her healthcare training provides her with a unique perspective to the sport of dance. After receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2019, she found her way to Greensboro, NC where she now works as a NICU Clinical Pharmacist.

Allie has found great importance in training her dancers to be technical, well-rounded, strong and passionate for their sport and attends to each dancer as an inimitable talent. She has learned a great amount working with dancers throughout the years, and looks forward to continuing to do so with the students at Southeast School of Dance!
