Throughout her elementary, middle, and high school years, Alex  worked with many different studios, choreographers, and artists including Mia Michaels, Andy Pellick, Alexandra Wells, Sidra Bell, Joe Lantera, Joey Wooling, Teddy Florence, Mandy Moore, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forence, Misha Gabriel, Katy Spreadbury, Andrew Winghart, Mike Minery, and Jule D. Lane.

After high school, Alex attended college and received excellent training from UNC School of the Arts.  She trained in various styles including; tap, jazz, ballet, Irish dance, clogging, lyrical, acrobatics and musical theater. These days, her favorite styles are contemporary and hip-hop.

In addition to her training, Alex attended many competitions and won titles and scholarships from Jump, 24seven, Southeast Showdown, NYCDA and many more. She also attended the M.I.P intensive in NYC where she got the chance to explore and create her own choreography. Alex was even featured on one episode of the show “So You Think You Can Dance”.

Alex enjoys sharing her love of dance her students, and is a wonderful addition to our SESD team!
