Our Pom/Cheer class blends elements of cheer leading, jazz dance, hip hop dance, conditioning, and stretching to create an upbeat, energetic class! Think about your high school’s “dance team,” and add pom poms.
Pom requires strength, control, sharpness, and body awareness to perfect this flashy style of dance! Formation changes and precise arm placement make pom exciting to practice, perform, and watch. Dancers will take time to condition and stretch, drill arm placement, and practice turns, leaps, and jumps seen in cheer routines. You certainly won’t be bored in our Pom class!
