She has performed works by Glenda Peele, Wren Peele, Jimelle Suzanne , Meredith Holland, Meredith Etheridge, and recently Lilyan Vigo Ellis. She has won numerous solo, duo and group awards as a member of the dance team.

Carey has also trained in summer intensives at the North Carolina Dance Institute under Kirstie Spadie, Sarah Putterman, and Ronald West. Carey is co-founder of Two Dancers Against Cancer, an effort to use her passion for dance as a way to honor her grandfather and help the fight against cancer by organizing dance related events to raise money for the American Cancer Society. She is currently in the BFA Dance Program at UNC Greensboro.

We are so excited to have Carey on our team this year teaching tap and jazz!
